Sin embargo, hay una serie de m\u00fasicos que trabajaron en esa \u00e9poca y que sin estar adscritos a ese movimiento, tambi\u00e9n hicieron evolucionar el jazz como expresi\u00f3n art\u00edstica. Entrar\u00edan en lo que se podr\u00eda denominar \u00abla revoluci\u00f3n silenciosa\u00bb.<\/div>\n<p><a name=\"more\"><\/a><\/p>\n<div>El trompetista David Weiss echa mano de un repertorio de finales de los a\u00f1os 60 en su mayor\u00eda, compuesto por temas de Herbie Hancock, Tony Williams o Andrew Hill, para lograr un disco vibrante y con una m\u00fasica contagiosa. Su quinteto Point of Departure (t\u00edtulo de una de las obras cumbres de Andrew Hill, uno de los m\u00fasicos pertenecientes a ese supuesto movimiento), demuestra una gran pegada en este directo de 2008. David Weiss se muestra como un trompetista magn\u00edfico. Un m\u00fasico al que habr\u00e1 que seguir la pista. Entre el resto de los componentes de su gran quinteto, el bater\u00eda Jamire Williams resulta toda una sorpresa, tanto por sus solos como especialmente por su trabajo como acompa\u00f1ante.
