En 2010 estrena en forma de disco su nuevo proyecto Sonic Projections. Un cuarteto con Craig Taborn, David Boykin y Chad Taylor que a\u00f1ade una nueva senda a sus posibilidades de expresi\u00f3n art\u00edstica.<\/div>\n<p><a name=\"more\"><\/a><\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Entre sus \u00faltimas grabaciones\/proyectos est\u00e1n su propuesta de c\u00e1mara (Black Earth Strings), su tr\u00edo de improvisaci\u00f3n con Hamid Drake y Harrison Bankhead (Black Indigo Trio), su grupo de vanguardia (con el que grab\u00f3 <i>Xenogenesis<\/i>), y tambi\u00e9n Black Earth Ensemble, formaci\u00f3n de m\u00e9trica variable que entroncar\u00eda dentro de la exploraci\u00f3n de la <i>great black music<\/i>, arquet\u00edpica de la AACM de Chicago. Su nuevo cuarteto Sonic Projections tambi\u00e9n le sirve para improvisar, pero al contrario que lo que sucede con Indigo Trio, aqu\u00ed los m\u00fasicos parten de sus composiciones.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Las referencias con las que trabaja resultan muy variadas. Van desde temas de un car\u00e1cter m\u00e1s abstracto, hasta otros momentos de una gran inmediatez, entre los que destaca sobremanera \u00abChocolate Chips\u00bb, que incluye un fant\u00e1stico dueto de David Boykin y Chad Taylor.
