No News!<\/i> en el sello alem\u00e1n Jazzwerkstatt. Acompa\u00f1ados por una r\u00edtmica de lujo (el contrabajista Hilliard Greene y el bater\u00eda Barry Altschul), los dos titulares se reparten las composiciones: cuatro son firmadas por cada uno de ellos, mientras que las dos restantes (\u00abGPS #1\u00bb y \u00abGPS #2\u00bb), son improvisaciones del cuarteto.<br \/><a name=\"more\"><\/a>\n<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>La asociaci\u00f3n de ambos l\u00edderes resulta id\u00f3nea. Tanto Swell como Ullmann se mueven habitualmente por los terrenos del jazz y la improvisaci\u00f3n, unos territorios que no abandonan en esta ocasi\u00f3n. Por un lado est\u00e1n las composiciones, con muestras magn\u00edficas como \u00abNew York 5:50\u00bb, \u00abBerlin 9:35\u00bb (ambas de Ullmann), \u00abPlanet Hopping On A Thursday Afternoon\u00bb y esa especie de collage que es \u00abComposite #1\u00bb (ambas de Swell), que sirven para plantear un marco en el que los cuatro m\u00fasicos pueden improvisar con mucha libertad, pero a la vez con un <i>swing <\/i>enorme gracias al trabajo de Greene y Altschul, que mantienen (y de qu\u00e9 modo, esc\u00fachese la citada \u00abPlanet Hopping&#8230;\u00bb), la coherencia que requieren esas composiciones.
