Uno de los discos m\u00e1s breves que he escuchado en bastante tiempo: apenas supera los 28 minutos de duraci\u00f3n. Su inicio est\u00e1 lleno de espacios amplios que permiten el transcurrir de las notas tranquilamente, sin prisas. Libre e improvisado, con espacio para que el piano teja sus l\u00edneas con gran amplitud, apoyado suavemente por las escobillas o por el trabajo sobre los platos, \u00abAu d\u00e9part, les oisseaux\u00bb, muestra una m\u00fasica que no oculta cierta oscuridad en su lirismo. La primera parte de \u00abSeulement l&#8217;air\u00bb comienza distinta. El contrabajo y los platos toman el mando. Hay algo m\u00e1s de nervio y de intensidad que se contagia al piano, pero sin perder por ello el car\u00e1cter de balada.
