{"id":29480,"date":"2017-02-23T11:00:38","date_gmt":"2017-02-23T10:00:38","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.tomajazz.com\/web\/?p=29480"},"modified":"2017-02-22T10:58:39","modified_gmt":"2017-02-22T09:58:39","slug":"valentin-caamano-green-with-envy-free-code-jazzrecords-2017","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tomajazz.com\/web\/valentin-caamano-green-with-envy-free-code-jazzrecords-2017\/","title":{"rendered":"Valent\u00edn Caama\u00f1o: Green with Envy (Free Code JazzRecords 2017)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-29481 size-medium\" src=\"http:\/\/www.tomajazz.com\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/Valentin-Caama\u00f1o_Green-With-Envy_Free-Code-JazzRecords_2017-200x179.jpg\" width=\"200\" height=\"179\" alt=\"\" title=\"\">No cabe duda de la admiraci\u00f3n que <strong>Valent\u00edn Caama\u00f1o<\/strong> siente por el maestro y guitarrista <strong>Grant Green<\/strong>. <em>Green With Envy<\/em> es el t\u00edtulo del homenaje que le sirve de ofrenda y es una composici\u00f3n perteneciente al disco de 1961, <em>Green Street<\/em>, del sello Blue Note que el maestro grabara tambi\u00e9n a tr\u00edo conjuntamente con el bajista Ben Tucker y el bater\u00eda Dave Bailey; es m\u00e1s, incluso la est\u00e9tica de la portada de <em>Green With Envy<\/em> guarda semejanzas con <em>Green Street<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Valent\u00edn Caama\u00f1o muestra y demuestra con sencillez y maestr\u00eda en ocho cortes que es capaz de traer el pasado al presente en un viaje sonoro de lo m\u00e1s placentero, que el <em>be-bop<\/em> est\u00e1 muy vivo y que no es solo una pieza de museo.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Escuchar su m\u00fasica a ciegas sin saber qui\u00e9n es el autor nos lleva a comprender con cierta facilidad como fue el jazz en un determinado momento de la historia y como ese mismo jazz se encuentra muy presente hoy d\u00eda.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Muchas han sido las horas invertidas y mucho el sentimiento de cari\u00f1o depositado en <em>Green with Envy<\/em> con autenticidad de m\u00e1xima expresi\u00f3n, sirvi\u00e9ndose de una manera de tocar e interpretar en consonancia a la t\u00e9cnica individual y colectiva del grupo.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Para empezar en \u201cMatador\u201d casi podr\u00edamos tararear sin parar las armon\u00edas guitarr\u00edsticas de Valent\u00edn Caama\u00f1o y sus di\u00e1logos con el contrabajo de Juyma Est\u00e9vez al que asiste Andr\u00e9s Rivas con finura y sutilidad.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Emanando <em>swing<\/em> sin pausa en \u201cIt Ain&#8217;t Necessarily So\u201d y en \u201cJean De Fleur\u201d que se podr\u00edan bailar sin descanso durante mucho tiempo.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a1Cu\u00e1nta elegancia, <em>feeling<\/em> y paz encontramos en la brillante \u201cSometimes I Feel Like A Motherless Child\u201d!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a1Cu\u00e1nta intensidad <em>swingueante<\/em> se destila en la hom\u00f3nima \u201cGreen with Envy\u201d, \u201cThe Kicker\u201d u\u00a0 en \u201cOleo\u201d!
