En su nueva grabaci\u00f3n, <i>In Loving Memory Of America<\/i>, retoma parte de los postulados que planteaba en <i>musiK. Re-arranging The 20th Century<\/i> (Enja Records 2004). Acompa\u00f1ado por sus compa\u00f1eros habituales Frank Harrison (piano y fender), Yaron Stavi (contrabajo) y Asaf Sirkis (percusi\u00f3n), a los que a\u00f1ade el The Sigamos String Quartet, recupera unos cuantos cl\u00e1sicos del jazz que en algunos casos Parker ya hab\u00eda llevado en la d\u00e9cada de los cincuenta al terreno del jazz con secci\u00f3n de cuerdas(\u201cEverything Happens To Me\u201d, \u201cIf I Should Lose You\u201d, \u201cWhat Is This Thing Called Love\u201d, \u201cI Didn\u2019t Konw What Time It Was\u201d, \u201cApril In Paris\u201d), e incorpora a este formato algunos temas propios aparecidos en grabaciones anteriores (\u201cmusiK\u201d, \u201cTutu Tango\u201d, \u201cIn The Small Hours\u201d). Sin caer en el sentimentalismo vac\u00edo de intentar unas versiones que s\u00f3lo busquen imitar a los originales, los arreglos sacan lo mejor de estas composiciones, e incluso en \u201cWhat Is This Thing Called Love\u201d le dan un toque actual.
