Aunque en los \u00faltimos a\u00f1os ha aparecido alguna nueva grabaci\u00f3n, tal y como ocurri\u00f3 en 2005 con el maravilloso concierto con Dizzy Gillespie <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tomajazz.com\/discos\/2006_01_breves.htm#reediciones\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span>Town Hall, New York, June 22, 1945<\/span><\/a>, la mayor\u00eda de lo que se edita contiene material ya publicado que es seleccionado y dispuesto seg\u00fan criterios de lo m\u00e1s dispar.\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<br \/>No obstante, a finales de 2008 han aparecido dos nuevas recopilaciones que tienen un alto inter\u00e9s.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.tomajazz.com\/bun\/uploaded_images\/charlie-parker-the-be-bop-revolution-726751.gif\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.tomajazz.com\/bun\/uploaded_images\/charlie-parker-the-be-bop-revolution-726728.gif\" alt=\"\" border=\"1\" title=\"\"><\/a>El sello franc\u00e9s Le Chant Du Monde ha publicado a precio reducido en su colecci\u00f3n \u201cThe Studio Master Takes\u201d, una caja de seis compactos dedicada a Bird titulada <span>The BeBop Revolution<\/span>. Recorre el periodo temporal que va de 1944 a diciembre de 1954, que es pr\u00e1cticamente toda su carrera, ya que falleci\u00f3 en marzo de 1955. Incluye m\u00e1s de 130 temas en los que fue el titular de la formaci\u00f3n o en las que tuvo un papel importante como solista. El grueso de los temas aparecieron y se encuentran recopilados fundamentalmente bajo los sellos Savoy, Dial y Mercury\/Clef\/Verve. Tal y como indica el t\u00edtulo de la recopilaci\u00f3n han quedado excluidas sus grabaciones con secci\u00f3n de cuerdas y sus aproximaciones a la m\u00fasica latina, que son  dos de las fases m\u00e1s controvertidas de su carrera.<\/p>\n<div>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.tomajazz.com\/bun\/uploaded_images\/charlie-parker-bird-in-time-726700.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.tomajazz.com\/bun\/uploaded_images\/charlie-parker-bird-in-time-726692.jpg\" alt=\"\" border=\"1\" title=\"\"><\/a>Publicada por el sello norteamericano ESP, <span>Bird In Time 1940 \u2013 1947 <\/span>es diferente, ya que recoge cronol\u00f3gicamente una selecci\u00f3n de grabaciones provinientes de diversas fuentes, entre las que se incluyen la primera grabaci\u00f3n en estudio del saxofonista que aqu\u00ed aparece datada en 1936-1937, su participaci\u00f3n en distintos grupos previa a su carrera como l\u00edder, as\u00ed como emisiones radiof\u00f3nicas, grabaciones de conciertos, los cuatro temas grabados en estudio en 1942 (que en otras discograf\u00edas aparecen fechados en 1943) con el guitarrista Efferge Ware.  Salpicando la m\u00fasica aparecen distintas entrevistas con el propio Charlie Parker, Max Roach, Milt Jackson y Roy Porter entre otros. Un complemento imprescindible y que complementa los cuatro compactos es el magn\u00edfico libreto escrito por Michael D.Anderson,  que en 64 p\u00e1ginas describe cronol\u00f3gicamente la carrera del saxofonista a lo largo de estos a\u00f1os, Para ello toma como referencia tanto el material incluido en este CD, como sus otras grabaciones de esta \u00e9poca.\n<\/div>\n<p>El material incluido en ambas recopilaciones es de una alt\u00edsima calidad art\u00edstica y recoge algunos de los momentos m\u00e1s importantes de la historia del jazz. La recopilaci\u00f3n de Le Chant du Monde es m\u00e1s que recomendable a quien todav\u00eda no est\u00e9 muy familiarizado con Charlie Parker en particular, y con el <span>bebop<\/span> en general. El inter\u00e9s estriba en que \u00fanicamente se incluyen las tomas maestras de unos temas que influir\u00edan enormemente en el devenir del jazz. Por su parte, la recopilaci\u00f3n de ESP es imprescindible para los muchos fans del saxofonista, y tambi\u00e9n para los estudiosos de su carrera. En este caso hay unas diferencias m\u00e1s que notables entre algunos de los datos que se incluyen en el libreto y algunas discograf\u00edas como la que el brit\u00e1nico Brian Prestley ha incluido recientemente en su libro <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tomajazz.com\/bibliojazz\/brian_priestley_chasin_bird.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span>Chasin&#8217; The Bird<\/span><\/a>.
