Gustavsen desarroll\u00f3 una propuesta atmosf\u00e9rica, \u00a0de tendencias mel\u00f3dicas\u00a0 intimistas, buc\u00f3licas y nebulosas, con puntuales destellos a modo de contrapunto y reforz\u00f3 su tr\u00edo, s\u00f3lido y compacto, con el saxofonista tenor Tore Brunborg que compuso, en sus partes solistas, un tapiz entre el jazz y la m\u00fasica folkl\u00f3rica, relativamente pr\u00f3ximas al mundo sonoro desarrollado por Jan Garbarek (en su dilatada obra, especialmente para el sello muniqu\u00e9s ECM, en el cual tambi\u00e9n graba Gustavson, donde la mano de Manfred Eicher no suele pasar desapercibida).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-32567\" avanzando el concierto fue disminuyendo nuestro inter\u00e9s, como consecuencia de la repetici\u00f3n de la f\u00f3rmula, poco cambiante y previsible.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img muy altas hab\u00edamos generado con el anuncio de la actuaci\u00f3n de la cantante coreana, Youn Sun Nah, despu\u00e9s de su retiro prolongado por maternidad. Expectativas que fueron menguando tras la escucha de <a href=\"https:\/\/tomajazz.com\/web\/?p=30987\">su \u00faltimo trabajo discogr\u00e1fico <em>She Moves On<\/em><\/a>, grabado con su nueva formaci\u00f3n, m\u00fasicos de renombre de la escena estadounidense, Jamie Saft, Brad Jones, Dan Rieser y Marc Ribot \u2013en cuatro de los once t\u00edtulos-. M\u00fasicos que a excepci\u00f3n de Ribot estuvieron presentes en el Th\u00e8\u00e2tre de la Mer.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-32570\" src=\"https:\/\/tomajazz.com\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/07_20JzzSt-600x399.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"399\" title=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/tomajazz.com\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/07_20JzzSt.jpg 600w, https:\/\/tomajazz.com\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/07_20JzzSt-200x133.jpg 200w, https:\/\/tomajazz.com\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/07_20JzzSt-83x55.jpg 83w, https:\/\/tomajazz.com\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/07_20JzzSt-60x40.jpg 60w, https:\/\/tomajazz.com\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/07_20JzzSt-120x80.jpg 120w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Un disco que a gusto del que suscribe se queda unos pelda\u00f1os por debajo de sus tres producciones anteriores (<em>Lento<\/em> -2013-, <em>Same Girl<\/em> -2010-\u00a0 y <em>Voyage<\/em> -2008-), tambi\u00e9n para el sello muniqu\u00e9s ACT. Tres trabajos que contaron con el denominador com\u00fan del guitarrista <a href=\"https:\/\/tomajazz.com\/web\/?p=14357\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Ulf Wakenius<\/a>, el contrabajista y chelista Lars Danielson y el percusionista Xavier Desandre-Navarre, y en los dos \u00faltimos con el acordeonista <a href=\"https:\/\/tomajazz.com\/web\/?p=14145\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Vincent Peirani<\/a>, con los cuales hab\u00eda conseguido crear una atm\u00f3sfera bien personal y reconocible.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-32571\" src=\"https:\/\/tomajazz.com\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/08_20JzzSt-399x600.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"399\" height=\"600\" title=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/tomajazz.com\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/08_20JzzSt.jpg 399w, https:\/\/tomajazz.com\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/08_20JzzSt-200x300.jpg 200w, https:\/\/tomajazz.com\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/08_20JzzSt-37x55.jpg 37w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 399px) 100vw, 399px\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El reciente trabajo, interesante, encontramos que queda englobado en un contexto m\u00e1s gen\u00e9rico y posiblemente para un p\u00fablico m\u00e1s amplio, al devenir m\u00e1s evidente y previsible.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-32572\" src=\"https:\/\/tomajazz.com\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/09_20JzzSt-600x399.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"399\" title=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/tomajazz.com\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/09_20JzzSt.jpg 600w, https:\/\/tomajazz.com\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/09_20JzzSt-200x133.jpg 200w, https:\/\/tomajazz.com\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/09_20JzzSt-83x55.jpg 83w, https:\/\/tomajazz.com\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/09_20JzzSt-60x40.jpg 60w, https:\/\/tomajazz.com\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/09_20JzzSt-120x80.jpg 120w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El temario desarrollado en S\u00e8te fue pr\u00e1cticamente el mismo de su \u00faltimo disco. Entre ellos destacar\u00edamos, \u201cTraveller\u201d una exquisita composici\u00f3n de la cantante; la remarcable versi\u00f3n, de aires psicod\u00e9licos, de la tradicional \u201cA sailor\u2019s Life\u201d con los arreglos de la legendaria formaci\u00f3n, de folk-rock, Fairport Convention (con la cantante Sandy Denny); la tambi\u00e9n tradicional \u201cBlack is the color of my true love\u2019s hair\u201d con una introducci\u00f3n a la kalimba de Youn para posteriormente conjugar su voz con el contrabajo de <a href=\"https:\/\/tomajazz.com\/web\/?p=14145\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Brad Jones<\/a> (que nos hab\u00eda sorprendido gratamente con el tr\u00edo de Aru\u00e1n Ortiz, el pasado mes de noviembre en el Jamboree barcelon\u00e9s); as\u00ed como \u201cToo late\u201d del propio Saft, interpretada al \u00f3rgano, para terminar, en el bis, con la composici\u00f3n de Joni Mitchell \u201cThe Dawntreader\u201d.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-32573\" src=\"https:\/\/tomajazz.com\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/10_20JzzSt-399x600.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"399\" height=\"600\" title=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/tomajazz.com\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/10_20JzzSt.jpg 399w, https:\/\/tomajazz.com\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/10_20JzzSt-200x300.jpg 200w, https:\/\/tomajazz.com\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/10_20JzzSt-37x55.jpg 37w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 399px) 100vw, 399px\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Destacar, tambi\u00e9n, las versiones de dos temas, ambos pertenecientes a su trabajo del 2008.
