M\u00fasica de dif\u00edcil catalogaci\u00f3n donde se cruzan un sinf\u00edn de formas entre las que podemos vivir <em>rock<\/em> progresivo, fusi\u00f3n, pinceladas \u00e9tnicas, <em>jazz-rock<\/em> con elementos lis\u00e9rgicos y psicod\u00e9licos sin perder el componente l\u00edrico y conceptual que parece abrazar con un sonido envolvente y lejano, tan lejano que se pierde en la inmensidad espacial.<\/p>\n<p>De lo que no cabe duda es que estamos ante uno de los guitarristas m\u00e1s personales y creativos de los \u00faltimos tiempos, no obstante, no quiero olvidarme del tambi\u00e9n guitarrista Steve Hillage, un m\u00fasico que a mi modo de ver abri\u00f3 la puerta del futuro all\u00e1 por los lejanos a\u00f1os 70 del pasado siglo. No menos cierto es que de forma consciente o inconsciente Mark Wingfield bebe de fuentes de prestigio e historia como son Pat Metheny, Allan Holdsworth o John Abercrombie e incluso en el \u201cc\u00f3smico\u201d Terje Rypdal y me atrever\u00eda incluso a se\u00f1alar a Bill Frisell en su influyente trabajo <em>Rambler<\/em> (1985 ECM Records).<\/p>\n<p>Mark Wingfield en cada nueva entrega de su obra nos ofrece un viaje donde la improvisaci\u00f3n es un elemento muy a tener en cuenta y donde la inclusi\u00f3n del teclista Dominique Vantomme proporciona una riqueza de texturas que a\u00f1aden colores y atm\u00f3sferas a las composiciones.<\/p>\n<p><em>Tales From The Dreaming City<\/em> aporta nuevas formas y una l\u00ednea continuista de principio a fin.
