Basando todo su repertorio en los \u00faltimos discos editados en el sello ECM, <em>Into The Silence<\/em><em> y Cross My Palm With Silver, demostr\u00f3 el porqu\u00e9 del prestigio que ha ido adquiriendo este m\u00fasico israel\u00ed afincado en Nueva York. As\u00ed, la <\/em>revista <em>Jazz Magazine France<\/em> le nombr\u00f3 en 2016 como mejor artista extranjero, y su disco <em>Into the Silence<\/em> fue premiado por la Academia del Jazz francesa como mejor del a\u00f1o. Significa regalo de Dios. Y la verdad es que fue un aut\u00e9ntico regalo musical el que nos hizo este cuarteto.<\/em> El concierto comenz\u00f3 con dos piezas incluidas en su \u00faltimo trabajo \u201cWill I die, Miss? Will I die?<em> y<\/em> \u201cShoot me in the Leg\u201d. El primero con un d\u00fao de piano y trompeta soberbio y un emocionante desarrollo, donde la finura de Avishai Cohen est\u00e1 perfectamente arropada por un tr\u00edo muy bien engrasado. <strong>Yonathan Avishai<\/strong> al piano improvisa un comienzo a solo en el segundo tema para dar entrada al resto de la banda. Hay intercambios de d\u00faos y tr\u00edos, resaltando otro d\u00fao de Avishai Cohen y Ziv Ravitz y del trompetista con el contrabajista. Cohen emprende una serie de improvisaciones que ponen los pelos de punta.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-39879\" src=\"https:\/\/tomajazz.com\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/IMG_7560_filtered-400x600.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" height=\"600\" title=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/tomajazz.com\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/IMG_7560_filtered-400x600.jpg 400w, https:\/\/tomajazz.com\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/IMG_7560_filtered-200x300.jpg 200w, https:\/\/tomajazz.com\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/IMG_7560_filtered-37x55.jpg 37w, https:\/\/tomajazz.com\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/IMG_7560_filtered.jpg 666w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 400px) 100vw, 400px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>El tema \u201cLife and death\u201d es una preciosa balada donde, por momentos, es obligado acordarse de Miles, como as\u00ed sucedi\u00f3 en \u201cDream like a child\u201d, tambi\u00e9n incluida en\u201cIn to the Silence\u201d, con comienzo muy l\u00edrico del trompetista y una clara demostraci\u00f3n de belleza por la secci\u00f3n r\u00edtmica. En \u201cTheme for Jimmy Green\u201d, pieza del \u00faltimo trabajo, el pianista comienza y le sigue el trompetista en una hermosa balada.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-39880\" src=\"https:\/\/tomajazz.com\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/IMG_7555_filtered-A-600x419.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"419\" title=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/tomajazz.com\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/IMG_7555_filtered-A-600x419.jpg 600w, https:\/\/tomajazz.com\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/IMG_7555_filtered-A-200x140.jpg 200w, https:\/\/tomajazz.com\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/IMG_7555_filtered-A-768x537.jpg 768w, https:\/\/tomajazz.com\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/IMG_7555_filtered-A-79x55.jpg 79w, https:\/\/tomajazz.com\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/IMG_7555_filtered-A.jpg 1000w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Las dos siguientes piezas fueron \u201cQuiescence\u201d con un texto recitado por Cohen, junto con \u201cInto the Silence\u201d, en el que Ziv Ravitz acomete un solo de bater\u00eda intenso y largo que sirve para que el resto de la banda se exprese en uno de los momentos m\u00e1s creativos del concierto, con el colof\u00f3n de un nuevo d\u00fao de Avishai Cohen y <strong>Barak Mori<\/strong> al contrabajo. En el bis de rigor, el contrabajista se explay\u00f3 en una introducci\u00f3n de alto voltaje que dej\u00f3 en bandeja la entrada y el desarrollo del resto del cuarteto y que dio alas tanto a Yonathan Avishai como al propio Cohen para culminar su soberbia actuaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>El concierto fue una aut\u00e9ntica delicia, con una brillante interacci\u00f3n de los m\u00fasicos, composiciones emocionantes y una alta energ\u00eda en las improvisaciones.
