Las pol\u00e9micas respecto a lo que es o no es el jazz se han producido continuamente. Algunos m\u00fasicos, entre ellos Miles Davis dec\u00edan que no tocaban jazz. De hecho no quer\u00eda que se etiquetase su m\u00fasica. Lo que le importaba verdaderamente era sacudir los o\u00eddos y transgredir las reglas con una m\u00fasica que siempre ha querido formar parte de la realidad de su \u00e9poca.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-39909\" src=\"https:\/\/tomajazz.com\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/IMG_7598_filtered-400x600.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" height=\"600\" title=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/tomajazz.com\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/IMG_7598_filtered-400x600.jpg 400w, https:\/\/tomajazz.com\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/IMG_7598_filtered-200x300.jpg 200w, https:\/\/tomajazz.com\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/IMG_7598_filtered-37x55.jpg 37w, https:\/\/tomajazz.com\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/IMG_7598_filtered.jpg 666w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 400px) 100vw, 400px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Algo parecido, salvando las distancias, es lo que pretende este m\u00fasico que nos ha visitado. Si lo consigue o no es otro cantar. Si en su paso por el grupo Masqualero all\u00e1 por finales de los 70, <strong>Nils Petter Molvaer<\/strong> se mostraba ya muy influido por Miles Davis, en los 80 el trompetista noruego acrecent\u00f3 a\u00fan m\u00e1s su querencia por Miles con su decantaci\u00f3n hacia una m\u00fasica salpicada de elementos rockeros, de m\u00fasica electr\u00f3nica e incluso hip hop, utilizando para ello un aut\u00e9ntico arsenal t\u00e9cnico. Es entonces cuando personajes como Jon Hassell o Bill Laswell est\u00e1n en plena fase de creatividad y Molvaer no est\u00e1 al margen de su influencia. En general, m\u00e1s centrado en utilizar de forma predominante recursos jazz\u00edsticos frente a otros conciertos en los que se ha inclinado hacia una avalancha de tecnolog\u00eda que apabulla y termina por aburrir. Las composiciones intentan ser sugerentes y evocadoras. La creaci\u00f3n de espacios sonoros se empareja con la m\u00fasica atmosf\u00e9rica o psicod\u00e9lica y demuestran que Molvaer sigue estando en buena forma con sus intensos fraseos. Entre los efectos sonoros y las percusiones flotantes, hubo momentos brillantes como las aportaciones de Johan Lindstrom al <em>steel guitar<\/em> y alg\u00fan que otro solo de guitarra del mismo.
