Si bien la compa\u00f1\u00eda puede ser un descubrimiento para los oyentes m\u00e1s ecl\u00e9cticos, sugerimos a los amantes del\u00a0<i>swing<\/i>\u00a0que avancen hasta la siguiente rese\u00f1a.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft\" style=\"border: 1px solid black;\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/www.tomajazz.com\/discos\/2012_09\/fl_r.jpg\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" border=\"1\" title=\"\">Asustado habr\u00e1 quedado m\u00e1s de un aficionado al escuchar el primer corte de\u00a0<i>Rimjob<\/i>, trabajo del bater\u00eda Felix Lehrmann. \u00bf<i>Heavy metal<\/i>instrumental? \u00bfEstamos ante el nuevo disco de Planet X? Falsa alarma. El bater\u00eda alem\u00e1n no quiere delimitar su m\u00fasica, y lo deja claro desde el principio. Tanto su estilo de bater\u00eda como el del guitarrista Torsten Goods pueden ser tan incendiarios como reposados. En este CD nos obsequian con excelentes piezas de\u00a0<i>jazz-rock<\/i>\u00a0(\u201cBroken Morning\u201d), gui\u00f1os al\u00a0<i>smooth jazz<\/i>\u00a0(\u201cEdward\u201d) y\u00a0<i>jazz fusion<\/i>\u00a0ochentero (\u201cRandy\u2019s Bum\u201d). A destacar la presencia del saxofonista Tony Lakatos en el\u00a0<i>blues<\/i>\u00a0menor \u201cPatting\u201d, reminiscente del grupo Metro (qu\u00e9 casualidad: el mism\u00edsimo Wolfgang Haffner escribe unas breves notas al libreto).<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright\" style=\"border: 1px solid black;\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/www.tomajazz.com\/discos\/2012_09\/f_g.jpg\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" border=\"1\" title=\"\">fDeluxe es el nuevo nombre de The Family, los que grabaron originalmente el \u201cNothing Compares 2 U\u201d que popularizara Sinead O\u2019Connor bajo la producci\u00f3n de Prince (cuando a\u00fan se llamaba Prince). En este \u201cGaslight\u201d presentan un repertorio de\u00a0<i>pop-soul<\/i>\u00a0que podr\u00edamos camuflar con calzador como\u00a0<i>jazz fusion<\/i>\u00a0vocal. El proyecto, no obstante, rezuma calidad.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft\" style=\"border: 1px solid black;\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/www.tomajazz.com\/discos\/2012_09\/tg_21s.jpg\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" border=\"1\" title=\"\">Cambio de tercio: el percusionista indio Trilok Gurtu se asocia con el bater\u00eda brit\u00e1nico Simon Phillips para, arropados por la NDR Big Band, dar forma al proyecto m\u00e1s\u00a0<i>jazzero<\/i>\u00a0de los comentados, si bien con sonoridades de\u00a0<i>world music<\/i>.\u00a0<i>21 Spices<\/i>\u00a0es un trabajo soberbio que fusiona org\u00e1nicamente m\u00fasicas de distintos \u00e1mbitos (\u201cBalahto\u201d). Impresiona la precisi\u00f3n con la que se compagina el concepto bater\u00edstico binario de Simon Phillips con la subdivisi\u00f3n del tiempo de Gurtu, asentada en su propio folclore. Da gusto escuchar al hind\u00fa cantando la melod\u00eda de \u201c1-2 Beaucoup\u201d al un\u00edsono con la\u00a0<i>big band<\/i>. En \u201cJhulelal\u201d, donde la agrupaci\u00f3n brilla especialmente, se aparece el esp\u00edritu de Joe Zawinul.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright\" style=\"border: 1px solid black;\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/www.tomajazz.com\/discos\/2012_09\/jfdjlf_gn.jpg\" width=\"150\" height=\"135\" border=\"1\" title=\"\">Tambi\u00e9n en la frontera entre el jazz y las sonoridades comerciales se encuentra\u00a0<i>Global Noize<\/i>\u00a0(subtitulado como \u201cUna oraci\u00f3n para el planeta\u201d), que agrupa al teclista Jason Miles con DJ Logic a los platos y la cantante india Falu. Entre bases r\u00edtmicas bailables y timbres artificiales aparece de vez en cuando alg\u00fan solo.<\/p>\n<p>Art Of Groove, MiG Music.
