Ahora October Equus regresa con <em>Presagios<\/em>; y lo hace con la formaci\u00f3n base, es decir, \u00c1ngel Ontalva, V\u00edctor Rodr\u00edguez y Amanda Pazos e implementado por una flauta, un fagot y un violonchelo y con el significativo cambio en los tambores donde desaparece Vasco Trilla presente desde <em>Saturnal<\/em> (2011) pasando por <em>Permafrost<\/em> (2013) hasta <em>Isla Purgatorio<\/em> (2013) y aparece Piotr Talalay.<\/p>\n<p>Once cortes componen <em>Presagios<\/em> a modo de obra que hubiera firmado cualquier artista de los a\u00f1os 70 del pasado siglo y con una duraci\u00f3n acorde al formato de aquellos a\u00f1os como era y son los vinilos.<\/p>\n<p>Propuesta instrumental de altos vuelos donde nada es azar y todo est\u00e1 calculado con precisi\u00f3n quir\u00fargica y donde se me vienen a la memoria grupos como Henry Cow, Art Bears,\u00a0 Art Zoyd o l&#8217;Ensemble Ray\u00e9 e incluso y a\u00fan m\u00e1s alejados a Gentle Giant o Gryphon.<\/p>\n<p><em>Presagios<\/em> es una obra de <em>rock<\/em> vanguardista de c\u00e1mara tan densa como compleja en sus composiciones y arreglos, algo que se percibe desde la inicial \u201cPneuma\u201d hasta la totalidad de los temas.<\/p>\n<p>En \u201cIntermitencias\u201d es la flauta quien combina con el fagot y el violonchelo dando paso al resto del grupo alcanzo el cl\u00edmax con un dialogo a cuatro entre el fagot y el violonchelo al que se unen los teclados y la guitarra.<\/p>\n<p>Una canci\u00f3n de aspecto <em>naif<\/em>,\u00a0 es \u201cSingular\u201d, corta pero intensa donde conversan con naturalidad los teclados, el fagot y la guitarra el\u00e9ctrica, algo que vuelve a reaparecer en \u201cSecrag\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEstelas\u201d es obsesiva y minimalista personalizada en el piano el\u00e9ctrico de V\u00edctor Rodr\u00edguez a la que pone el punto y aparte \u00c1ngel Ontalva\u00a0 con su guitarra <em>frippertronica<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>En \u201cCeniza\u201d se entrecruzan el \u00f3rgano de V\u00edctor Rodr\u00edguez y la guitarra de \u00c1ngel Ontalva\u00a0 fundamentalmente.<\/p>\n<p>Piezas como \u201c\u00cdgneo\u201d suponen un claro ejemplo de lo argumentado, gran variedad de instrumentos que entran y salen en interactuaciones milim\u00e9tricas donde destaca los misteriosos teclados de V\u00edctor Rodr\u00edguez.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOculto\u201d es la pieza m\u00e1s corta, l\u00edrica, oscura y de sonoridad <em>zeuhl<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Posiblemente la composici\u00f3n \u201cPresagio\u201d sea la m\u00e1s jazz\u00edstica aunque solo sea por la intervenci\u00f3n del piano ac\u00fastico de V\u00edctor Rodr\u00edguez si bien con el pasar del tiempo se va complicando hasta la finalizaci\u00f3n con corrosivo solo de guitarra \u00c1ngel Ontalva.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cC\u00e9firo\u201d y \u201cSombra\u201d son las dos \u00faltimas pistas que cierran el \u00e1lbum y las de mayor duraci\u00f3n.
