El l\u00edder del quinteto anunci\u00f3 el siguiente tema llamado \u201cNefr\u00e9n\u201d, una composici\u00f3n muy l\u00edrica y m\u00e1gica que iniciaron con una introducci\u00f3n del contrabajista Jes\u00fas Gea, pilar s\u00f3lido e indiscutible de la formaci\u00f3n, que vino sustituyendo a Andr\u00e9s Liz\u00f3n, contrabajista original del grupo en la grabaci\u00f3n. Tras la exposici\u00f3n conjunta de los vientos, fue Salda\u00f1a el encargado de desarrollar el primer solo, bien construido, largo y muy expresivo, desplegando intensos fraseos sobre la estructura. Oliver desarroll\u00f3 tambi\u00e9n su parte improvisada con un lenguaje muy sutil y \u00a0fluido, y un sonido profundo y vigoroso. El buen <em>groove<\/em> creado por el grupo se mantuvo en toda la velada. Fischer \/ Frankie Laine) en la que brillaron los arreglos de piano y un magistral solo del contrabajista, que realiz\u00f3 una labor encomiable a lo largo de toda la actuaci\u00f3n. Bermejo, Salda\u00f1a y Oliver, tuvieron tambi\u00e9n aqu\u00ed sus espacios para los solos, con sugerentes y delicados fraseos. Otro de los temas m\u00e1s lucidos del repertorio fue \u201cLeonard\u201d, <em>Home Tone<\/em> (SKIP Records, 2012) del saxofonista h\u00fangaro Tony Lakatos, con alargadas y elegantes improvisaciones de Salda\u00f1a, Oliver y Bermejo. El baterista Garc\u00eda marc\u00f3 el inicio de \u201cNew York Attitude\u201d, <em>New York Attitude<\/em> (Uptown, 1984) del pianista Kenny Barron, a un tempo r\u00e1pido, no apto para cardiacos\u2026 El primero en arrancar fue Oliver, acometiendo su solo con una flexibilidad t\u00e9cnica arrolladora, y un discurso decisivo, colmado de largos fraseos enlazados. Salda\u00f1a no se qued\u00f3 corto en su libre improvisaci\u00f3n, aportando su personal y exquisita elocuencia creativa. La complicidad de la secci\u00f3n r\u00edtmica, abrigando a los vientos en sus respectivas intervenciones, fue decisiva, alcanzando una gran comunicaci\u00f3n interactiva dentro del quinteto. Tras las intensidades creadas por los vientos, el pianista Bermejo traz\u00f3 su improvisaci\u00f3n con un rico lenguaje, fresco y \u00e1gil en su ejercicio. Garc\u00eda cerr\u00f3 las ruedas de solos con una muestra de sus grandes habilidades en la bater\u00eda. El emotivo bolero \u201cVerdad amarga\u201d de Consuelo Vel\u00e1zquez, cantado por el l\u00edder, y la pieza \u201cET\u201d, decidieron el final de la actuaci\u00f3n.
