El grupo lleva en activo diez a\u00f1os, periodo en el que ha publicado ocho grabaciones. Tras un silencio discogr\u00e1fico de dos a\u00f1os, esta formaci\u00f3n publica en Aerophonic Records (el sello dirigido por Rempis que le est\u00e1 sirviendo desde hace unos a\u00f1os para dar salida a sus distintos proyectos), el fant\u00e1stico <em>Znachki Stilyag<\/em>, grabado en directo en 2019 en Moscu.<\/p>\n<p>Tres improvisaciones componen la grabaci\u00f3n: \u00abFuck the Money Changers\u00bb que se extiende por encima de los 38 minutos, y las m\u00e1s breves (duran en torno a nueve minutos), \u00abHotel Mary Poppins\u00bb y \u00abOld Worms\u00bb. La m\u00fasica se mueve por los terrenos del free jazz y la improvisaci\u00f3n, alternando como es habitual en las propuestas de lo tres integrantes de Ballister, pasajes r\u00edtmicos, mel\u00f3dicos y energ\u00e9ticos junto con otros m\u00e1s abiertos.<\/p>\n<p>El tr\u00edo funciona como una maquinaria de precisi\u00f3n que se mueve (por momentos) a toda velocidad. Los tres m\u00fasicos muestran un entendimiento magn\u00edfico, casi telep\u00e1tico, en su forma de llevar la m\u00fasica por unos u otros derroteros. Esto es especialmente palpable en \u00abFuck the Money Changers\u00bb, tema en el que hay pasajes con cierta reminiscencia al Oriente Pr\u00f3ximo, junto con otros de una energ\u00eda desbordante, y otros m\u00e1s abiertos. En \u00abHotel Mary Poppins\u00bb y \u00abOld Worms\u00bb no hay tiempo (la brevedad manda), para tanta variedad de ambientes, lo que no les resta inter\u00e9s, sino todo lo contrario.<\/p>\n<p>Paal Nilssen-Love vuelve a mostrar, una vez m\u00e1s, por qu\u00e9 es uno de los bateristas m\u00e1s activos de la escena del jazz de la actualidad. Fred Lonberg-Holm deja constancia del papel que puede ocupar el chelo en el jazz, algo de lo que m\u00fasicos como Oscar Pettiford ya hab\u00edan dejado constancia. Hay que se\u00f1alar a su vez c\u00f3mo las pinceladas que aporta su uso de la electr\u00f3nica sirven para dar un mayor empaque a la propuesta de Ballister. Finalmente, Dave Rempis est\u00e1 en una forma magn\u00edfica, soplando con gran energ\u00eda.<\/p>\n<p>Znachki Stilyag es un magn\u00edfico reflejo de la propuesta de Ballister en directo.
