La escucha de los dos que lleva esta galleta m\u00e1gica de Savoy Records (<i>Billies Bounce<\/i>\u00a0y\u00a0<i>Now&#8217;s The Time<\/i>, ambos de Parker) sirve para cartografiar lo que fue y lo que supuso el bebop, primera piedra de lo que ser\u00e1 el jazz a partir de su ruptura con la tradici\u00f3n: un grupo de cinco m\u00fasicos cuya espoleta es Bird, en contraste con las big bands, huyendo de la amabilidad del swing y priorizando el ritmo y las improvisaciones de los solistas. El saxo alto de Parker, la trompeta de Davis, el piano de un Gillespie (o Hen Gates en los cr\u00e9ditos) que se ocupa del mismo porque no deb\u00eda haber otro pianista presente, el contrabajo de Curley Russell y la bater\u00eda de Max Roach exponen el futuro absorbiendo el pasado africano y las vanguardias europeas presentes sin ser reh\u00e9n de ninguno.
