Desde entonces sus creaciones como l\u00edder, colider o sideman en otros grupos no han dejado de crecer.<\/p>\n<p>Forma parte de grupos como <strong>Mostly Other People Do the Killing<\/strong>, y acompa\u00f1a asiduamente a <strong>Mary<\/strong> <strong>Halvorson<\/strong>, <strong>Dave<\/strong> <strong>Douglas<\/strong>, <strong>Barry<\/strong> <strong>Altschul<\/strong>, <strong>Peter<\/strong> <strong>Evans<\/strong>, <strong>Tyshawn<\/strong> <strong>Sorey<\/strong>, <strong>Ingrid<\/strong> <strong>Laubrock<\/strong>, <strong>Kris<\/strong> <strong>Davis<\/strong>, <strong>Tom<\/strong> <strong>Rainey<\/strong> o <strong>Moppa<\/strong> <strong>Elliott<\/strong>. Actualmente, Irabagon goza de un merecido prestigio en los medios jazz\u00edsticos norteamericanos entre los aficionados al <em>avant-garde jazz, free jazz, post-bop, avant-metal<\/em> y la m\u00fasica experimental.<\/p>\n<p>Este \u00e1lbum, donde solo se oye un saxof\u00f3n tenor, est\u00e1 compuesto principalmente por canciones de Charlie Parker, con inclusi\u00f3n de alguna pieza de Miles Davis y Dizzy Gillespie, adem\u00e1s de otros m\u00fasicos de la era del <em>be bop.<\/em> Hasta ahora nunca hab\u00eda grabado un disco lleno de est\u00e1ndares.<\/p>\n<p><em>Bird with Streams<\/em> es un homenaje a <strong>Charlie Parker<\/strong>, cuyo centenario de su nacimiento se celebr\u00f3 el a\u00f1o pasado. Los temas fueron grabados en un ca\u00f1\u00f3n de Dakota del Sur a finales del verano y principios del oto\u00f1o mientras guardaba la cuarentena con su familia. De hecho, seg\u00fan confiesa, se trata de un \u00e1lbum que nunca tuvo la intenci\u00f3n de hacer. Las circunstancias lo propiciaron y gracias a un equipo port\u00e1til pudo registrar los temas. Antes pas\u00f3 varias horas todos los d\u00edas componiendo, improvisando y experimentando sonidos.<\/p>\n<p>Est\u00e1 integrado por 15 temas cortos, donde Irabagon improvisa claramente sobre las composiciones en diferentes tonalidades, a veces de una manera \u00e1spera y otras tempestuosa. Unas versiones muy particulares que siempre rompen las melod\u00edas tradicionales.<\/p>\n<p>Hay cl\u00e1sicos como \u201cAnthropology\u201d, una versi\u00f3n muy sui g\u00e9neris; una c\u00e1lida versi\u00f3n de una balada como \u201cSippin&#8217; At Bells\u201d de Miles Davis. En \u201cBebop\u201d y \u201cOrnithology\u201dde Parker, se aprecia una gran finura estil\u00edstica. En \u201cNow&#8217;s The Time\u201d hace un extraordinario aprovechamiento sonoro del instrumento, que se acelera en la versi\u00f3n de \u201cDonna Lee\u201d y se hace lento en \u201cHot House\u201d. Con el sonido de agua al fondo, Irabagon improvisa al m\u00e1ximo la pieza \u201cB. Schwifty\u201d. La m\u00fasica invade la naturaleza en unas bellas combinaciones.<\/p>\n<p>Una mezcla de <em>bebop y swing<\/em> rodea al tenor en \u201cKC Blues\u201d, con una elegante extravagancia.
