His smile at the drums was as infectious as his groove, and he brought joy to band mates and listeners alike. And he was so genuine and hip, with a keen insight into people and a great sense of humor.<\/p>\n<p>His was a beautiful spirit. He left us way too soon, but leaves behind a legacy of music and love.
