Randy Weston lo grab\u00f3 en 1955 con el t\u00edtulo \u00abFire Down There\u00bb, y un a\u00f1o m\u00e1s tarde Rollins hizo lo propio, edit\u00e1ndose como el primer tema de <em>Saxophone Colossus<\/em>. En esta grabaci\u00f3n aparec\u00eda como una composici\u00f3n de Sonny Rollins. Randy Weston acreditaba el tema como tradicional.<\/li>\n<li>Randy Weston naci\u00f3 en 1926 y falleci\u00f3 en 2018. De joven trabaj\u00f3 en un restaurante, propiedad de su padre, hasta que pudo dedicarse profesionalmente a la m\u00fasica. En 1955 la revista Down Beat lo consagr\u00f3 como un \u00abnuevo talento del piano\u00bb. Fue un gran admirador de Thelonious Monk, cuya influencia es la forma de tocar de Weston fue m\u00e1s que evidente. Tambi\u00e9n lo es en su discograf\u00eda, pues en el a\u00f1o 1989 public\u00f3 el disco <em>Portraits Of Thelonious Monk<\/em>.<\/li>\n<li>El periodista Javier de Cambra, a quien se le echa (y mucho) de menos, fue un gran admirador y amigo personal de Randy Weston. En el a\u00f1o 2014 se realiz\u00f3 un homenaje al periodista en el C\u00edrculo de Bellas Arte de Madrid, y como no pod\u00eda ser de otro modo, el primero de los m\u00fasicos que intervino en ese concierto fue Randy Weston.
