No la culpo. Su proyecto suena agradable, preciosista e impecable, aun a costa de caer en una dulzura extrema.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Influencias de hace pocas d\u00e9cadas sobresalen en el CD. \u201cElectric Images\u201d nos transporta a los a\u00f1os setenta, \u201cBumblebee Garden\u201d arranca con una combinaci\u00f3n de saxo soprano y guitarra ac\u00fastica que rememora al grupo <strong>Oregon<\/strong> y, volviendo al modelo de <strong>Wheeler<\/strong>, la voz de <strong>Sara<\/strong> <strong>Serpa<\/strong> recuerda a la de <strong>Norma<\/strong> <strong>Winstone<\/strong> integr\u00e1ndose en la formaci\u00f3n como un instrumento m\u00e1s. A <strong>Kakitani<\/strong> le gusta partir de un concepto sencillo e ir desarroll\u00e1ndolo con maestr\u00eda hasta conseguir una densidad arm\u00f3nica notable, ya sea repitiendo motivos que cambian constantemente de contexto o contraponiendo dos acordes, como en \u201cDance One\u201d.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Entre las contribuciones individuales son de destacar los solos de <strong>Jason<\/strong> <strong>Rigby<\/strong> en \u201cBloom\u201d (emulando a <strong>Michael<\/strong> <strong>Brecker<\/strong>), <strong>Kenny<\/strong> <strong>Berger<\/strong> en la tradicional \u201cOpened Opened\u201d (sobre un acompa\u00f1amiento cargado de dramatismo) y <strong>Pete<\/strong> <strong>McCann<\/strong> en \u201cIslands In The Stream\u201d, acerc\u00e1ndose al <i>jazz-rock<\/i> y acabando en un <i>fade-out<\/i> roto que contrasta con la limpieza del resto del disco.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Deliciosa como pocas, esta <i>big band<\/i> acariciar\u00e1 los o\u00eddos de los amantes del jazz elegante, moderno pero no fe\u00edsta.
