Lorenzo Juan Llabr\u00e9s nos la cuenta&#8230;<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>El disco <em>Ellington Indigos<\/em> se grab\u00f3 en septiembre y octubre de 1957. Se public\u00f3 en Columbia en 1958.<\/li>\n<li>El 1 de Octubre de 1957 Duke Ellington y su Orquesta grabaron \u00abAutumn Leaves\u00bb completo (7:12). Durante los dos primeros minutos Ozzie Bailey canta la melod\u00eda completa en franc\u00e9s, mientras se oye el viol\u00edn de Ray Noble haci\u00e9ndole contracantos libres. Al acabar, sigue el viol\u00edn como solista (siempre con la orquesta de fondo), y al cabo de un rato vuelve a cantar Bailey, esta vez en ingl\u00e9s, una versi\u00f3n muy libre e improvisada.<\/li>\n<li>En la primera edici\u00f3n del LP, por motivos desconocidos, suprimieron los dos primeros minutos, es decir, cortaron la parte cantada en franc\u00e9s, publicando \u00fanicamente el resto (unos 5 minutos).<\/li>\n<li>En alguna edici\u00f3n posterior rescataron la canci\u00f3n completa (7:12), pero cometieron el error de catalogarla como \u00abalternate take\u00bb, lo que no era cierto, con el agravante de que existe una versi\u00f3n similar a la primera, pero de duraci\u00f3n 6:14, que esta s\u00ed era \u00abalternate take\u00bb, grabada con anterioridad, el 9 de setiembre de 1957. En ella, al concluir la parte cantada en franc\u00e9s, destaca, adem\u00e1s, el piano, acompa\u00f1ando con acordes percutidos.<\/li>\n<li>En el CD <em>The Complete Ellington Indigos <\/em>(publicado por PWR en 2018), se recogen las dos versiones sin cortes. En la pista n\u00famero 10, est\u00e1 la versi\u00f3n original (master) de duraci\u00f3n 7:12 (del 1 de octubre). En la pista n\u00famero 15, est\u00e1 la \u00abalternate take\u00bb de duraci\u00f3n 6:14 (del 9 de setiembre).<\/li>\n<li>En JazzX5 escuchamos ambos temas. Tanto la versi\u00f3n completa de \u00abAutumn Leaves\u00bb del 1 de octubre de 1957, como la versi\u00f3n alternativa del 9 de septiembre del mismo a\u00f1o.
