No cab\u00eda lugar para la duda. Las primeras notas que salieron de la trompeta de Avishai Cohen silenciaron al respetuoso y entendido aficionado.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El concierto se inici\u00f3 con el tema de John Coltrane \u201cWise One\u201d incluido en su disco<i> Introducing Triveni<\/i> (Anzic Records).El fraseo limpio, elegante, fluido y modulante impregn\u00f3 la sala arrancando los primeros aplausos y entusiasmando a mel\u00f3manos y simples aficionados por igual.<\/p>\n<p><center><figure id=\"attachment_6210\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-6210\" style=\"width: 500px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.tomajazz.com\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/avishai_cohen_0797.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-6210\" alt=\"Avishai Cohen\" src=\"http:\/\/www.tomajazz.com\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/avishai_cohen_0797.jpg\" width=\"500\" height=\"333\" title=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/tomajazz.com\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/avishai_cohen_0797.jpg 500w, https:\/\/tomajazz.com\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/avishai_cohen_0797-300x199.jpg 300w, https:\/\/tomajazz.com\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/avishai_cohen_0797-82x55.jpg 82w, https:\/\/tomajazz.com\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/avishai_cohen_0797-60x40.jpg 60w, https:\/\/tomajazz.com\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/avishai_cohen_0797-120x80.jpg 120w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-6210\" class=\"wp-caption-text\"><span style=\"color: #999999;\">Avishai Cohen<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure><\/center><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">En \u201cArt Deco\u201d (Don Cherry) en principio encontramos un ejercicio <i>swingueante<\/i> de <i>bebop y post-bop<\/i> de la d\u00e9cada de los sesenta para paulatinamente ir acerc\u00e1ndose al <i>cool<\/i> de Don Cherry y Miles Davis en la trompeta de Avishai Cohen con el apoyo del potente y brillante solo de Reiner Elizarde \u00abEl Negr\u00f3n\u00bb al que acompa\u00f1a el omnipresente Iago Fern\u00e1ndez en los platos.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Con \u201cFerrara Napoly\u201d entramos en la primera composici\u00f3n de Avishai Cohen y al igual que las otras dos pertenecientes a su trabajo<i> Introducing Triveni<\/i>. Caracterizado por una fuerza y vibrato de la que hacen gala los grandes trompetistas, modulando con mesura y manteniendo el control con destreza de maestro obliga a la secci\u00f3n r\u00edtmica a emplearse con contundencia y a fondo, donde Reiner Elizarde \u00abEl Negr\u00f3n\u00bb una vez m\u00e1s muestra sus dotes t\u00e9cnicas con solvencia y Iago Fern\u00e1ndez vuelve a ser el complemento perfecto.<\/p>\n<p><center><figure id=\"attachment_6209\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-6209\" style=\"width: 500px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.tomajazz.com\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/reinier_elizarde_0800.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-6209\" alt=\"Reinier Elizarde\" src=\"http:\/\/www.tomajazz.com\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/reinier_elizarde_0800.jpg\" width=\"500\" height=\"333\" title=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/tomajazz.com\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/reinier_elizarde_0800.jpg 500w, https:\/\/tomajazz.com\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/reinier_elizarde_0800-300x199.jpg 300w, https:\/\/tomajazz.com\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/reinier_elizarde_0800-82x55.jpg 82w, https:\/\/tomajazz.com\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/reinier_elizarde_0800-60x40.jpg 60w, https:\/\/tomajazz.com\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/reinier_elizarde_0800-120x80.jpg 120w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-6209\" class=\"wp-caption-text\"><span style=\"color: #999999;\">Reinier Elizarde<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure><\/center><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Finaliza el primer pase con dos composiciones propias \u201cOne Man\u2019s Idea\u201d y \u201cGet Blue\u201d (ambas de su disco <i>Triveni II<\/i>), en \u00e9sta \u00faltima Avishai Cohen nos propone un <i>blues<\/i> disonante con sordina y cuya estructura vuelve a ser trompeta, solo de bajo y apoyo de bater\u00eda.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El segundo pase comienza con una pieza que lleva por t\u00edtulo \u201cSafety Land\u201d (<i>Triveni II<\/i>) y demuestra que el galardonado por la revista <i>DownBeat Magazine<\/i> en el 2012 como trompetista revelaci\u00f3n, no es casualidad. Apenas unos cuantos minutos de ensayo previo con su bajista Reiner Elizarde \u201cEl Negr\u00f3n\u201d fueron m\u00e1s que suficientes para redondear una actuaci\u00f3n digna de m\u00fasicos que llevaran largo tiempo juntos.
