UU. y Europa desde el oto\u00f1o de 2021 hasta el verano de 2022.<\/p>\n<p>La oportunidad de la que disfrut\u00f3 al lado del vibrafonista de Indiana, la ofrece\u00a0 \u00e9l mismo ahora a m\u00fasicos como James Francies (teclados) y Marcus Gilmore (bater\u00eda), como integrantes del disco <em>Side-Eye NYC<\/em> y que, para la gira y actuaci\u00f3n en Madrid, sigui\u00f3 contando con otros dos j\u00f3venes valores como Chris Fishman y Joe Dyson, que los sustituyeron.<\/p>\n<p>Cuando Pat sigue siendo Metheny; cuando Pat Metheny se sigue reinventado, revisando y rememorando a s\u00ed mismo en una retrospectiva que va desde los inicios hasta el presente; cuando su fuente vital de energ\u00eda positiva no parece tener fin emanando ideas constantemente para una m\u00fasica que se puede calificar de incalificable, eso es <em>Side\u2013Eye<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Y aunque los a\u00f1os han pasado conserva intacto su optimismo <em>happy<\/em> y su juventud eterna por mucho que su f\u00edsico diga otra cosa.<\/p>\n<p>Es l\u00edder indiscutible, es el <em>sol invictus<\/em> de su tr\u00edo que funciona como una peque\u00f1a orquesta donde cada elemento genera multitud de sonidos.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-64136\" src=\"https:\/\/tomajazz.com\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/Chris-FishmanWEB.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"400\" title=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/tomajazz.com\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/Chris-FishmanWEB.jpg 600w, https:\/\/tomajazz.com\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/Chris-FishmanWEB-200x133.jpg 200w, https:\/\/tomajazz.com\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/Chris-FishmanWEB-465x310.jpg 465w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Chris Fishman desde su \u201catalaya\u201d es fuente y caudal que parte de su \u00f3rgano <em>Hammond<\/em>, de su piano el\u00e9ctrico, piano o sintetizador<em> moog<\/em>, siempre fiel acolito de su director para encajar a la perfecci\u00f3n y recordar a Chick Corea o Lyle Mays; no menos es Joe Dyson, un bater\u00eda elegante, fino y sutil capaz de revertir la situaci\u00f3n, si el guion as\u00ed lo requiere.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-64137\" src=\"https:\/\/tomajazz.com\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/Joe-DysonWEB.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"475\" title=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/tomajazz.com\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/Joe-DysonWEB.jpg 600w, https:\/\/tomajazz.com\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/Joe-DysonWEB-200x158.jpg 200w, https:\/\/tomajazz.com\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/Joe-DysonWEB-465x368.jpg 465w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Y multifuncional ya que su bater\u00eda procesaba el\u00e9ctricamente una multitud ingente de instrumentos que funcionaban seg\u00fan requerimiento, tales como un vibr\u00e1fono y otros de percusi\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>Su actuaci\u00f3n acorde a lo que el concierto requer\u00eda y con influencias que van desde Danny Gottlieb, Lenny White o incluso Alphonse Mouzon.<\/p>\n<p>La perfecci\u00f3n es una condici\u00f3n <em>sine qua non<\/em>\u00a0 sin la que no se podr\u00eda entender la m\u00fasica de Pat Metheny, como tampoco podr\u00eda hacerse olvid\u00e1ndose de sus m\u00faltiples estilos que convergen y la componen; desde el <em>jazz-rock<\/em> hasta el <em>free-jazz<\/em>, pasando por el <em>bebop<\/em>, (\u201cTimeline\u201d) el <em>blues<\/em> o los sonidos disonantes propios de la libre improvisaci\u00f3n e incluso la <em>new age<\/em> o el <em>ambient<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>A lo largo del extenso concierto pudieron los aficionados disfrutar de composiciones como \u201cBright Size Life\u201d, \u201cSirabhorn\u201d o \u201cUnquity Road\u201d (<em>Bright Size Life<\/em> 1976);
