Pero sobre todo me retrotrae a una \u00e9poca en la que el propio Luis Villas Boas y Duarte Mendon\u00e7a, organizadores del Festival Internacional de Jazz de Cascais en la d\u00e9cada de los 70\u00b4y los 80\u00b4, nos ayudaron a poner en marcha en 1980 el Festival Internacional de Jazz de Sevilla. Hoy d\u00eda ambos festivales son historia pero el Hot Club de Portugal sigue siendo ese foco de referencia para el Jazz en Portugal y Sevilla a trav\u00e9s de Assejazz mantiene en los \u00faltimos diez a\u00f1os una intensa actividad con la que tambi\u00e9n est\u00e1 logrando ser un punto de referencia para aficionados y m\u00fasicos de jazz en nuestro pa\u00eds.,<\/p>\n<p>En esta ocasi\u00f3n durante tres d\u00edas actuaba el grupo alem\u00e1n Zoom que presentaba su nuevo proyecto, bajo el \u00a0t\u00edtulo <em>The Curse of Unspoken words<\/em>, grabado recientemente y que re\u00fane a cuatro m\u00fasicos: el saxofonista Stephan Mattner, el guitarrista Philipp van Endert, el contrabajista Sebastian R\u00e4ther, y el bater\u00eda Jo Beyer, destacando los dos primeros por su labor compositiva que dota al trabajo de solidez y coherencia creando atmosferas atractivas con un enfoque muy coral en el que las melod\u00edas tienen un papel protagonista. Disciplina en la interpretaci\u00f3n, y minimalismo en la concepci\u00f3n. Buen concierto en el Hot Club de Portugal que adem\u00e1s ven\u00eda apoyado por el Ministerio de Cultura y Ciencia del L\u00e4nder alem\u00e1n Rhin-Westphalia, iniciativas interesantes, muy habituales en pa\u00edses del norte de Europa, que permiten que sus grupos puedan ser conocidos fuera de su pa\u00eds.
