Era normal, por tanto, que el peque\u00f1o Martin se empapara de los sonidos de Django Reinhardt. No les ha hecho falta tocar mucho tiempo juntos, ya que sus estilos y t\u00e9cnicas muestran un cien por cien de compatibilidad. En su repertorio se cocinan diferentes composiciones ajenas y propias, quedando patentes sus influencias. Estas incluyen a Django Reinhardt, Barney Kessel, Joe Pass, Egberto Gismonti, Joaqu\u00edn Rodrigo a incluso Pat Metheny.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBlues for a playboy\u201d y \u201cI\u2019m on my way\u201d de Barney Kessel, piezas en la onda del blues con las que comenz\u00f3 el concierto, fueron un buen bot\u00f3n de muestra con el que ambos guitarristas se explayaron y disfrutaron con sus intercambios r\u00edtmicos y llenos de colorido.<\/p>\n<p>La m\u00fasica de ambos guitarristas sale de un crisol en el que se cuecen a fuego lento los sonidos, ya sean a d\u00fao o en solitario. En las piezas \u201cTwo for the road\u201d de Henry Mancini y \u201cLauro\u201d de Egberto Gismonti, Martin Taylor se cubre con un manto cl\u00e1sico y ofrece dos interpretaciones en la que hace orfebrer\u00eda para paladares exquisitos. Taylor rasca la guitarra al estilo \u201cmanouche\u201d rememorando sus tiempos con Grapelli, mientras Wakenius fue m\u00e1s fiel a su tendencia de amante del blues. Los dos intercambiaron sus improvisaciones hasta elevar la temperatura de la sala con participaci\u00f3n del p\u00fablico incluida.<\/p>\n<p>Casi en el final lleg\u00f3 una versi\u00f3n del \u201cIsn\u2019t she lovely\u201d de Stevie Wonder, composici\u00f3n con mucha riqueza r\u00edtmica y \u00f3ptima para extraerle todas sus posibilidades de improvisaci\u00f3n.
