En esta ocasi\u00f3n se centra en Duke Ellington, en concreto en la parte menos pretenciosa de su repertorio, la de canciones, <em>blueses<\/em> y dem\u00e1s. Para ello utiliza a su secci\u00f3n r\u00edtmica habitual y a una curiosa secci\u00f3n de viento (los Swing Seven) sin saxo tenor y con arreglos de Don Sebesky.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El guitarrista sale a matar en \u201cIn A Mellowtone\u201d, acaricia nuestros o\u00eddos en \u201cSatin Doll\u201d (con solo de guitarra de su padre, Bucky Pizzarelli) y nos ofrece un curioso montaje mel\u00f3dico de \u201cDon\u2019t Get Around Much Anymore\u201d sobre el ambiente est\u00e9tico trist\u00f3n de \u201cEast St. Louis. Toodle-Oo\u201d. El r\u00e1pido \u201cC Jam Blues\u201d sirve como lucimiento para todos los m\u00fasicos, incluyendo las colaboraciones de Harry Allen al tenor y Aaron Weinstein al viol\u00edn (recordando, al menos en timbre, a Ray Nance, encargado de dicho instrumento en la orquesta de Duke). En \u201cPerdido\u201d Pizzarelli invita a su esposa Jessica Molaskey (autora de la letra) y al cantante Kurt Elling, inconfundible desde su primera nota.
