Los <em>standards<\/em> de antes no son los de ahora, atr\u00e1s quedaron las composiciones \u201cI got Rhythm\u201d o \u201cSummertime\u201d de George Gershwin y \u201cSophisticated Lady\u201d de Duke Ellington, entre otras. El motivo de ese cambio lo podemos encontrar en el disco de Herbie Hancock <em>The New Standards<\/em> del a\u00f1o 1995, donde el pianista interpretaba y revisaba temas de Nirvana, Prince, The Beatles, Sade, Simon and Garfunkel etc.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>Eye In The Sky Proyecto<\/em> retoma esa misma idea con temas de David Bowie, Lou Reed, The Beatles y por supuesto el conocido \u201cEye In The Sky\u201d de Alan Parsons y que dio t\u00edtulo a su disco del a\u00f1o 1982.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La idea por tanto no es nueva, aunque se suma a esta nueva corriente del jazz que consiste en utilizar canciones del <em>pop-rock<\/em> para improvisar y transformarlas hasta hacerlas propias.<br \/>\nOcho canciones famosas que los asturianos afrontan con originalidad, talento, honestidad y el riesgo creativo necesario para alcanzar la fluidez necesaria que precisa la obra.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Trabajo inicial que bien pudiera servir como iniciaci\u00f3n al jazz para aquellos que se acerquen al mismo por vez primera. Su <em>bop<\/em> sencillo sabe guardar la uniformidad a lo largo de todo el disco rayando a buen nivel con imaginaci\u00f3n y modernidad.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">En cuanto al repertorio en temas como el que da t\u00edtulo al \u00e1lbum, \u201cEye In The sky\u201d, el tr\u00edo lo encara de manera tan reconocible que incluso se puede tararear. Y sus primeros compases a piano bien pudieran servir de fondo para el acompa\u00f1amiento de im\u00e1genes.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Otros cortes que igualmente destacan por elecci\u00f3n, interpretaci\u00f3n, estructuras, armon\u00edas y arreglos son: \u201cSgt.
