En su crisol pueden resplandecer las m\u00fasicas originarias de cualquier rinc\u00f3n de este planeta. Para esta sesi\u00f3n se han juntado el pianista de origen israel\u00ed Jonathan Avishai y el percusionista Bachir Mouhali, con varios a\u00f1os de rodaje tocando juntos y afincados en el sur de Francia.<\/p>\n<p>Ser\u00eda f\u00e1cil encorsetar las diez piezas que componen Soledad con etiquetas como jazz \u00e9tnico y cosas por el estilo. Simplificaciones que a veces, por artificiales, pasan por alto la calidad de las composiciones y limitan el inter\u00e9s por su escucha. Los sugerentes temas traslucen una cierta calidez y templanza, que nos trasladan hacia lugares remotos y solitarios. Si bien en principio pueden resultar f\u00e1ciles y faltos de velocidad, tras una escucha reposada es cuando muestran su verdadera dimensi\u00f3n. La fuerza del piano se impone en todos los temas y salvo excepciones, como en las versiones de un tema de Abdullah Ibrahim, otro de Coltrane y un tercero de Fats Waller, el disco hace incursiones de una manera tangencial por los ritmos del jazz. En el resto hay una clara influencia de los acordes orientalizantes e incluso referencias que se remiten a lo afrocubano, que es donde Bachir Mouhali m\u00e1s resalta. A su lado, Avishai se muestra como el complemento perfecto en esta ins\u00f3lita formaci\u00f3n. A destacar piezas como \u201cNomade\u2019s Land\u201d, \u201cFly\u201d y \u201cThe Promise\u201d, con una clara sinton\u00eda entre los dos m\u00fasicos, capaces de dibujar paisajes sugerentes y de bella factura.
