El flautista Herbie Mann y el bar\u00edtono Pepper Adams comparten protagonismo con el l\u00edder, o bien crean ligeros colchones arm\u00f3nicos para \u00e9l (\u00ab&#8216;Tis Autumn\u00bb). Paul Chambers acaricia las cuerdas de su contrabajo en las baladas, abordando sus danzarines tresillos marca de la casa en \u00abHow High The Moon\u00bb. Bill Evans presenta, en la introducci\u00f3n a \u00abAlone Together\u00bb, un esbozo de su emergente \u00abBlue In Green\u00bb (<em>Kind Of Blue\u00a0<\/em>se grabar\u00eda dos meses despu\u00e9s).
