Sus infinitas colaboraciones con grandes m\u00fasicos de jazz, y su participaci\u00f3n en los festivales m\u00e1s importantes del mundo, le han consagrado como una de las leyendas vivas del g\u00e9nero. El legendario saxofonista posee en su haber un gran n\u00famero de trabajos discogr\u00e1ficos, desde aquel primer <em>Scott Hamilton Is a Good Wind Who Is Blowing Us No Ill<\/em> (1977) hasta su m\u00e1s reciente \u00e1lbum <em>Street Of Dreams<\/em> (2019), avalando una larga y extraordinaria trayectoria que le hacen ser uno de los m\u00fasicos m\u00e1s requeridos en la escena del jazz internacional.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Hamilton inici\u00f3 la primera parte del concierto a cuarteto, con \u201cPick Yourself\u00a0 Up\u201d (Jerome Kern \/ Dorothy Fields), una canci\u00f3n popular revisada por muchos de los grandes vocalistas y m\u00fasicos de jazz de todas las \u00e9pocas, incluida tambi\u00e9n en el \u00e1lbum <em>Intimate Conversations<\/em> (Blue Sounds, 2021) de Ignasi Terraza. En la deliciosa pieza \u201cPoinciana\u201d (Nat Simon \/ Buddy Bernier) realizada a ritmo de un medio funk \/ samba, dieron rienda a varias incursiones de los cuatro componentes, en el que alternaron fraseos de saxof\u00f3n y piano con la bater\u00eda y el contrabajo, jugando sobre la estructura arm\u00f3nica.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>La vertiginosa partitura de \u201cCherokee\u201d (Ray Noble) a un tempo <em>fast<\/em>, fue una muestra de las virtuosidades de Terraza y de Hamilton, amortiguadas por las intensas l\u00edneas del contrabajo de Gonz\u00e1lez y la precisi\u00f3n r\u00edtmica de la bater\u00eda de Krause, que luci\u00f3 tambi\u00e9n con una espl\u00e9ndida improvisaci\u00f3n. Hamilton quiso recordar a la gran vocalista Billie Holiday con la balada \u201cI Cover The Waterfront\u201d, tocada a d\u00fao con el pianista Terraza, creando una atm\u00f3sfera entra\u00f1able y sofisticada que inund\u00f3 el espacio del auditorio con sus elocuentes oratorias, sobre el respetuoso silencio de un aforo ensimismado.
