Todo ello tiene cabida en el \u00faltimo trabajo del saxofonista Gerald Albright y, al contrario que los c\u00f3cteles de James Bond, m\u00e1s revuelto que agitado. As\u00ed \u201cWhat Would James Do?\u201d, con la colaboraci\u00f3n del trombonista Fred Wesley, se remite al <em>funk<\/em> contundente, \u201cGet On The Floor\u201d (como su propio t\u00edtulo indica) nos transporta a las pistas de baile de los a\u00f1os setenta, en la balada \u201cClose To You\u201d Albright recuerda a ratos a David Sanborn, a ratos a Grover Washington Jr., y en \u201cI Found The Klugh\u201d (con Earl Klugh como invitado a su sempiterna guitarra ac\u00fastica) el ambiente recrea la \u00faltima \u00e9poca de Spyro Gyra. \u201cThe Road To Peace\u201d nos descubre al titular de la sesi\u00f3n convertido en todo un \u201csax hero\u201d, y \u201cHighway 70\u201d recuerda al primer <em>jazz fusion<\/em>, al de la d\u00e9cada que aparece en su t\u00edtulo. Las interpretaciones est\u00e1n pr\u00e1cticamente perfectas, no falta un detalle. Todos los instrumentos suenan con brillo y los arreglos funcionan a la perfecci\u00f3n. Los problemas los encontramos en la falta de cohesi\u00f3n, que convierten al CD en un compendio de estilos, y en el nulo riesgo tomado, al transitar por caminos archiconocidos.<\/p>\n<p>Con una producci\u00f3n cuidad\u00edsima, <em>Pushing The Envelope<\/em> es un disco excelente, pero un disco de museo. De museo de arte moderno, si quieren.
