Poseedor de varios premios en su extensa carrera musical, ha colaborado con innumerables m\u00fasicos del jazz, el flamenco, el blues, la m\u00fasica pop y \u00a0la cl\u00e1sica, siendo por ello uno de los m\u00fasicos m\u00e1s demandados en proyectos y en los festivales de todo el mundo.<\/p>\n<p>Serrano inici\u00f3 su concierto con la melod\u00eda del \u201cPreludio de la Suite N\u00ba1\u201d para violonchelo en Sol Mayor (Bach), en solitario, dando entrada al resto del grupo en una exquisita adaptaci\u00f3n, pasada por el filtro musical del cuarteto, con una perfecta y necesaria interacci\u00f3n entre sus componentes.<\/p>\n<p>El l\u00edder de la formaci\u00f3n present\u00f3 a continuaci\u00f3n una segunda pieza \u201cRhapsody In Blue\u00bb de Gershwin, que desarrollaron en formato de <em>blues<\/em>, con \u00e1giles fraseos y fluidos sonidos que sal\u00edan de su arm\u00f3nica crom\u00e1tica, y el piano de Sanz, que aport\u00f3 precisos arreglos y armon\u00edas, arropados por las notas del contrabajo de Miguel y la expl\u00edcita bater\u00eda de Pi. La melod\u00eda de la conocida \u201cSerenata\u201d de Schubert cre\u00f3 un halo sereno y emotivo, en una extensa y expresiva improvisaci\u00f3n de Serrano, largamente aplaudida. La adaptaci\u00f3n de \u201cCascanueces\u201d (Tchaikovsky) a ritmo de swing, nos dejo momentos destacados del pianista Sanz y Serrano.<\/p>\n<p>La sesi\u00f3n continu\u00f3 con una versi\u00f3n del \u201cBolero\u201d de Ravel, \u00a1por fin suena a bolero!, exclam\u00f3 Serrano cuando acab\u00f3 el tema, en el que destac\u00f3 un solo del contrabajista Miguel, y donde Serrano fue introduciendo varias citas mel\u00f3dicas de otros famosos boleros como \u201cPerfidia\u201d (Alberto Dom\u00ednguez) en sus improvisaciones.<\/p>\n<p>El concierto fue adquiriendo tonalidades embriagadoras y m\u00e1gicas en cada una de las piezas que se sucedieron, hasta llegar a su final con el \u00abHimno a la Alegr\u00eda\u00bb de Beethoven, y un bis, \u201cAria de la Suite N\u00ba 3 en Re Mayor\u201d de Bach, un final sosegado para una espl\u00e9ndida actuaci\u00f3n liderada por uno de los armonicistas m\u00e1s singulares de la actualidad.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Dianne Reeves: honor y gloria<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-76437\" title=\"Dianne Reeves - La diva actual del jazz vocal fue recibida, en su cuarta visita al festival, con una alfombra sobre el escenario, para pisar con sus pies descalzos, y un ramo de flores, no es para menos. Sus m\u00e1s de veinte discos le avalan una magn\u00edfica carrera que comenz\u00f3 a finales de los a\u00f1os 70, consagr\u00e1ndose m\u00e1s tarde como una de las m\u00e1s importantes artistas vocales del jazz, recibiendo algunos premios y reconocimientos a sus trabajos, entre ellos el otorgado en el a\u00f1o 2018, por la agencia independiente <em>National Endowment for The Arts<\/em>, nombr\u00e1ndole como \u201cJazz Master\u201d, el m\u00e1s alto honor que reciben los grandes artistas del jazz en Estados Unidos.<\/p>\n<p>El grupo de Reeves lo completaba un cuarteto de lujo, entre los que se encontraba el gran guitarrista brasile\u00f1o Romero Lubambo, asiduo en el grupo de la cantante, el pianista John Beasley, el bajista Reuben Rogers y el baterista Terreon Gully.<\/p>\n<p>Comenzaron la actuaci\u00f3n a cuarteto, sin la cantante, con \u201cPovo\u201d (Freddie Hubbard), un contundente tema instrumental a modo de presentaci\u00f3n, manifestando un <em>groove<\/em> imponente. Reeves sali\u00f3 a escena, a continuaci\u00f3n, con una versi\u00f3n de la canci\u00f3n \u201cDreams\u201d de Stevie Nicks, vocalista del grupo Fleetwood Mac, incluida en el \u00e1lbum de Reeves, <em>Beautiful Life<\/em> (Concord Records, 2013). El grupo continu\u00f3 con otro emotivo tema lento \u201cSomeone To Watch Over Me\u201d (George Gershwin \/ Ira Gershwin), decorado con arreglos de piano, y un l\u00edrico solo de guitarra sobre la rica armon\u00eda de la composici\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>Reeves fue haciendo un recorrido por canciones de anteriores trabajos e incluso se atrevi\u00f3 con \u201cMinuano\u201d de Pat Metheny, coreada a d\u00fao con la vocalista surcoreana invitada Song Yi Jeon, formando un tandem muy equilibrado, debido en parte a la similitud de su timbre vocal con Reeves. Song Yi tuvo tambi\u00e9n sus momentos de protagonismo en \u201cL\u00f4ro\u201d de Egberto Gismonti en un mano a mano con Lubambo, fraseando notas e intervalos con su scat que el guitarrista iba repitiendo. Con las dos vocalistas sobre el escenario fue acabando la generosa velada, fruto de una entrega total por parte del grupo y el p\u00fablico, a pesar de las sofocantes temperaturas que acompa\u00f1aron la actuaci\u00f3n.
