Lo hace desde varios campos (jazz, cl\u00e1sica, flamenco, entre otros), duraciones (desde fragmentos de treinta minutos a actuaciones completas de una sola tirada o de dos pases)\u00a0 y espacios (Jamboree, Tarantos, Apolo, Palau de la M\u00fasica Catalana, L\u2019Auditori y el MUHBA -Museu d\u2019Hist\u00f2ria de Barcelona-).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\" align=\"center\"><a t\u00e9rminos, tr\u00edo, cuarteto, etc., el nombre del m\u00fasico m\u00e1s medi\u00e1tico, en este caso hubiera podido ser David Kikoski Quintet.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Todo sea dicho, viendo, despu\u00e9s de los dos pases, la din\u00e1mica del grupo, donde los miembros del quinteto hicieron, como m\u00ednimo, una\u00a0 presentaci\u00f3n cada uno, y que la casi totalidad de los temas interpretados fueron composiciones originales de distintos miembros de la banda y que se respiraba un aire de grupo con muy buena camarader\u00eda, parece, m\u00e1s que obvio, que gocen de un nombre propio.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\" align=\"center\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.tomajazz.com\/web\/?attachment_id=8111\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-8111\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-8111\" alt=\"05_130816_OPUS \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Posiblemente el grupo de mayor longevidad, todav\u00eda en activo, sea el estadounidense Oregon (creado por Ralph Towner en el 1971 y con casi treinta grabaciones), una aut\u00e9ntica rara avis del entorno del jazz. En algunos pasajes del directo, por la contundencia r\u00edtmica, velocidad vertiginosa, as\u00ed como su perfecto empaste, nos pod\u00eda evocar al quinteto VSOP. Kikoski, a piano solo, encaro el primer tema, un <i>blues-rock<\/i> de estructura muy simple, que fue cambiando, haci\u00e9ndolo m\u00e1s complejo, acerc\u00e1ndose al mundo de la cl\u00e1sica para dejarlo, ya en compa\u00f1\u00eda de los miembros restantes de la banda, en un musculado hard bop. Despu\u00e9s vendr\u00edan dos interesantes temas, \u201cAsami\u2019s playland\u201d y \u201cNostalgiain time (one for Fambrough)\u201d, ambos correspondientes al primer trabajo del quinteto, <i>Introducing<\/i> (2011), para terminar, en el bis, con el est\u00e1ndar \u201cInvitation\u201d.
