Buena prueba de ello es este <em>Joy Spring<\/em> dedicado al gran Clifford Brown, uno de los primeros m\u00fasicos de jazz que sedujeron al pianista de Minneapolis.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Carrothers vuelve en este disco a deleitarnos con su arte, esta vez en compa\u00f1\u00eda de los extraordinarios Drew Gress y Bill Stewart, otros dos m\u00fasicos habituales del sello alem\u00e1n. Como no pod\u00eda ser de otra manera viniendo de un tr\u00edo de estas caracter\u00edsticas, las lecturas est\u00e1n atravesadas por una creatividad que despierta nuestro asombro. Con rearmonizaciones en general distantes del tratamiento <em>bop<\/em> que recibieron las composiciones hace m\u00e1s de cincuenta a\u00f1os, las melod\u00edas se esconden y afloran en el teclado de Carrothers desarrollando un juego de misterio y seducci\u00f3n constante, en el que no es ajeno cierto toque tr\u00e1gico, incluso en los cortes m\u00e1s vigorosos.
