Cumplir un sue\u00f1o, alcanzar la meta y componer para los m\u00fasicos que siempre se han admirado reuni\u00e9ndolos en un disco: <i>The Art of Respect<\/i>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El \u00e1lbum est\u00e1 compuesto de temas propios y completados por dos cortes antiguos como \u201cBeodus\u201d y \u201cCielo\u201d. Ambos pertenecientes a su disco <i>Cielo<\/i>\u00a0(Karonte 2009)<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Abre <i>The Art of Respect<\/i>: \u201cPeople from Khartoum\u201d con el sinuoso, poderoso y serpenteante saxo tenor de Dave Liebman y continua con la matem\u00e1tica y progresiva guitarra de John Abercrombie bien sustentada por la secci\u00f3n r\u00edtmica.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cSoul People\u201d es de sonido limpio, di\u00e1fano y elegante. <i>Neo-bop<\/i> de la mejor catadura con un George Mraz excelente, un John Abercrombie colorista y un Guillermo McGill sutil. El saxo tenor de Dave Liebman vuela alto y melodioso al inicio y al final.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">En \u201cPeople from Nowhere\u201d son precisas las conversaciones que mantienen John Abercrombie y George Mraz. Al fondo fino y preciso Guillermo McGill.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cHeart Jones\u201d es el homenaje que Guillermo McGill dedica a su maestro m\u00e1s admirado: Elvin Jones. Un solo de bater\u00eda de Guillermo McGill reafirma lo comentado fundi\u00e9ndose con \u201cPeople from Manhattan\u201d donde Dave Liebman y John Abercrombie interact\u00faan con soltura.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">En \u201cCielo\u201d la ocarina de Dave Liebman se entrecruza con la guitarra y el bajo de John Abercrombie y George Mraz en una composici\u00f3n de tintes <i>cool <\/i>e insinuaciones \u00e9tnicas.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cBeodus\u201d es tranquila, serena y armoniosa. El saxo soprano de Dave Liebman lleva la voz cantante, la parte coral la guitarra de John Abercrombie y las escobillas de la bater\u00eda de Guillermo McGill y el bajo de George Mraz. Algo que acontece en \u201cPeople from Bulgaria\u201d pero tocado a mayor ritmo. \u201cNow I See You\u201d parece estar compuesta para John Abercrombie, parece incluso que fuera composici\u00f3n suya para alguno de sus \u00faltimos trabajos para <i>ECM Records<\/i>. Su suave y s\u00f3lido guitarreo es correspondido con elegancia por Guillermo McGill y el magn\u00edfico solo de George Mraz.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Cierra el disco \u201cPeople from Montevideo\u201d de marcado car\u00e1cter rocoso y compacto donde el saxo soprano de Dave Liebman y la guitarra de John Abercrombie se reparten el protagonismo de forma directa y franca. Guillermo McGill le da un final inesperado y \u00e9tnico percutiendo sus tambores que desaparecen poco a poco.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0<i>The Art of Respect<\/i> es una obra aut\u00e9ntica de Guillermo McGill, como aut\u00e9nticos son los maestros que la conforman.
